Linkdex

Delete Linkdex data

Cloud account deletion and local-device deletion are separate, so removing optional Cloud data never silently destroys your on-device library.

Delete the optional Cloud account

  1. Open Linkdex on a device connected to the Cloud account you want to delete.
  2. Open Settings and find the Cloud section.
  3. Tap Delete Cloud Account.
  4. Read the final confirmation and type DELETE.
  5. Confirm the permanent deletion.

What Cloud deletion removes

After confirmation, Linkdex permanently deletes:

  • The optional Linkdex Cloud account.
  • Links, folders, tags, relationships, and synchronization records stored in Cloud.
  • Cloud preview files and account-bound app data.

Cloud deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. The local library and App Store purchase remain on this iPhone.

Erase the local library

  1. Open Settings in Linkdex.
  2. Tap Erase Local Library and confirm the destructive warning.

This removes links, folders, tags, pending shared links, and local previews from this iPhone. It does not delete an existing Cloud copy.

Local-only data cannot be recovered after it is erased unless another backup exists. Deleting Linkdex from the iPhone can also remove local-only data.

Apple subscription billing

Deleting Cloud data does not automatically cancel an active Apple subscription. Apple controls App Store billing.

Cancel separately in iPhone Settings under your Apple Account and Subscriptions, or open Apple Subscriptions.
